⏳ adapt or die?

What do Biking and AI have in common?

Pedalling so hard, my legs are on fire!

Dodging pedestrians on the sidewalk as if my life depends on it.

I had to leave a friend behind.
He wasn’t ready.

I can’t afford to wait.
I am late.

P.S. EVERYTHING HAS TO DO WITH AI.

I get to the station 4 mins later.

I hoist myself up the stairs.
Stressing, sweating, shaking in the cold.

As I look up to get some information…

“Train cancelled.”

And the next one is in
exactly 4 mins.

An irrational thought goes through my mind.
Something risky. Impulsive.

I gambled with the 4 minutes I had left to spare.

I raced home to collect something of key importance
and made it back to the station.

Just in time to catch my train.

I catch my breath.
The train leaves the platform.

I feel invincible.

I made a risky move.
And got an even bigger reward.

Sometimes in life,
you just have to take that risk.

No matter how crazy or impossible it seems.

The Lesson

Maybe you’re not rushing to catch a train.

Maybe you’re rushing to catch a break in your career. Worried about getting fired or becoming irrelevant.

You may be scared to take bold moves like using AI in your work.

Or you’re unsure if writing with ChatGPT will make you “less creative.”

Maybe you think it’ll cost more time than it’ll save you.

But here’s the truth:
THAT HESITATION IS THE LOST TIME.
The more you wait,
the more you stop your growth.

If you want to stand out (in the job market) and keep evolving, you have to push yourself beyond your comfort zone.

Whether it’s launching that new project.
Signing up for an unfamiliar course.
Or exploring unknown AI tools...

Will you always succeed?
Of course not.

But “failing” means you learn faster.
And you get back on track:
Smarter, more capable, and braver than before.

"Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go."

T.S. Eliot

Your Next Step?

Next time you find yourself thinking…
”Should I try ChatGPT for this tricky task? Or is it too time-consuming?”
Stop overthinking.
Open up ChatGPT.
And ask it for help on one small task you’ve been putting off.
See how it feels.
Maybe it’ll save you hours.
Maybe it’ll flop.
Either way.
You gain insight that moves you forward.

Because if you never try, you’ll never know.

Onto the next big thing in life.

Now, go be bold.

Go try.

And see what happens next.
