⏳ BREAKTHROUGH ⏳

know your triggers
and stop overwhelm.

+ plus a PERSPECTIVE-CHANGE…

lately…
many things came together.
I was at my limit.

tasks piled up…
I felt trapped in this
PRISON OF OVERWHELM.

have you been
in this situation before?

don’t feel helpless.
there is a solution.

one, easy technique.
I tried it - and it works :)

  • to calm down quickly

  • and get rid of stress

by..

  • treating the root cause

  • and not the symptom

THE TECHNIQUE…

5 simple steps from

  • neuroscience

  • psychology

  • personal experience

I tried them in
extreme situations
of overwhelm…

they always helped
to escape the prison.

⏳ PRESENTING ⏳

⚡️THE ESCAPE PLAN⚡️
FOR THE PRISON OF OVERWHELM

“proven, and simple.”

step #1 - take a step back

  • what other activity can you do?

  • to get your mind off of the stress?

  • take a quick walk?

step #2 - next, find a quiet spot

  • next, sit down, eyes closed

  • focus on breath for 5mins

  • this will calm your ‘Amygdala’

step #3 - take pen and paper

  • list: what causes you overwhelm?

  • is that all?

  • is the list complete?

step #4 - start from the top

  • look at issue #1 on your list.

  • what’s the solution?

  • think: unusual, creative

  • ask a friend for advice?

  • take your time - ideas will come :)

  • repeat for all listed issues

step #5 - break it down even more

  • what’s the first step in solving the issue?

  • define all small steps

  • do this for each issue on your list

CONSIDERATIONS

  • don’t stop until each solution has all the small steps you need

  • then, start with the first small step

  • only then this technique really works
